Today August 21 is the 26th death anniversary of the late Senator Benigno Aquino, Jr. the husband of the late former President Corazon Cojuangco Aquino, the father of Senator Noynoy Aquino,Kris, Ballsy, Pinky And Viel Aquino.
After his death, the country became yellow. Protests, demonstrations, prayer rallies and noise barrages culminated in the Yellow Revolution in EDSa.
The day he died, I cried. I do not know why. Maybe because I thought the person who we hoped to bring the salvation was gone. My family was active in the protest rallies at that time. My brother got almost killed during a demonstration.
