Benigno Aquino III has not decided yet despite the “supreme sacrifice of Mar Roxas which caused Korina Sanchez to weep. This crying stint of the frustrated “First Lady” made me scratch my head why she was hurt by the sweeping statement of one columnist about people who are hungry for power (atat na atat) daw. Ngayon pang nag withdraw na si Mar saka pa siya nasaktan. I must be missing something. Erm.

His worry is about logistics. His networth is only few millions which is not enough for campaign which would cost about billions.

He prefers his contributions to be coming from people without vested interest that would expect payback the moment he wins.

The person from LP who estimated that if only half of the voters which he placed at 50 million would contribute 100 each, it will go long way. He should be told that his ssumption is that 50 per cent re going to vote for Noynoy. Pakibigyan nga ng calculator.

Mga botanteng ito hindi boboto kung hindi dadalhin sa presinto ng libre pamasahe. According to profile of the voters, many of them are unemployed.

Hihingan mo pa ng donasyon. Sus.

Nice point of view Ms. Cat. Contribution will play a good part in the 2010 presidentiables.

    Grabe…

Will it mean isang ‘Hello Garci’ ulit ni Gloria, laglag ulit ang pangarap nating mga Pinoy na maging ‘malaya’ sa corruption?

    Nagtatanong lang po. ^_^

  2. Cathy says:

I do not think that GMA will have the power to do that. She is a lameduck president. Election of Noynoy will not entirely eliminate graft and corruption.
Many of the corruptions happen in the lower echelons of the government bureaucracy. What the people perceive are the corruption that are brought in the media because they are worth millions. what they don’t see are the embedded corruption such s ghost employees, ghost consultants, ghost projects that drained the government finances.

When noynoy or any other person is electied in the office of the president, each and every little thing that the opposition or the media can sensationalize
can distract even the good governance after the election honeymoon is over.

    naniniwala ako dito,

“Election of Noynoy will not entirely eliminate graft and corruption.”

This is a great read mam cathy. lalo na ang tungkol sa voters thing. wag naman sana mag milagro na naman ng pandaraya. kelan kaya titino ang botohan sa atin.

    mam cat, OT

  5. superwoman says:

i agree mam…it will not entirely eliminate graft and corruption..yung sa baba deeply rooted na yun pero kahit man lang sa taas mam di ba?

  6. lindsel says:

  8. cindy says:

I am not for any of the presidentiables at the moment but I go for good governance that future leader should always put God first in everything he do. Yes, corruptions are everywhere no double about it. People who became rich and become richer and richer. I dont think there is no corruption involve there. I am an employee for more than ten years and my salary is enough for daily needs. I knew people who have the same or lesser than my salary has this has that, has those, own this, own that, own those maybe because they are madiskarte or marunong sa buhay but still there is corruption involve in it.

noynoy???i don’t think that he will be a good president..saganang akin lang..parang napilitan lng nmn siyan tumakbo for the coming 2010 presidential race..for his three terms in the house of the representatives..ano nagawa niya dun?anu ang nagawa ng mga Kagalang.galang na mga Kongresista??may nabago sa kalagayan ng mga trabahante ng Hacienda Luisita???sa iba pang magsasaka sa pilipinas???in the house of the senate.what has he done???what particular bill that he sponsored that greatly help the least of the people in this country???endi ibig sabihin na ganito ang magulang niya ganyan din siya..endi ko nakikita ang kakayahang maging isang leader na bansa na gumagapang pataas…

  10. ning says:

to noy, he should have think about it ( running for pres) a million times. he knows himself very well than anybody does. his limitations his capability. it isnt enough beig a son of ninoy & cory for him to deserve the presidency. the position he is aspiring for is the highest position of the land. come to think of it, he has been in congress and senate for eleven years?…what remarkable thing has he ever done for the fil people? meron ba? does he have any accomplishment or achievement to flaunt about? i googled him and sad to find out nothing noteworthy. kung ang simpleng position na clerk nga eh , maraming hinahanap na qualifications, once applying for work, so how much more with the president of the Phils per se?

  11. vince says:

hindi ako na niniwala na mapopoksa ang corruption pero may tiwala akong mapa2unlad noynoy ang ating bansa alam akong mabait siyang tao.
