Con-ass, Boy Bawang, Eddie Villanueva and the alarmists

For a mystery/suspense buff like me, I am not amused by the antics of Mar Roxas, the approval of HR 1109, the threat of Eddie Villanueva to bring his minions in the street (unluckily, the weather won’t cooperate) and the alarmists who warn about another people power. They’re so predictable.

Mar Roxas as Boy Bawang

For a millionaire trying hard to endear himself to the masa, Mar Roxas had another gimmick when he delivered his privilege speech to criticize the passing of the bill HR 1109 which calls for constitution assembly to amend the constitution–he brought a lei of garlic in the Senate.

First, he thought that all people in the low socio-economic group swear —p!@#$ & _na mo. Nah, some of them say taknay—-, others say okin—– etc.

Second, he rivaled the teleserye in his public declaration of love to his long-time girl friend, Korina.

This senator from Capiz which is known for aswangs should be told that garlic alone does not drive the aswangs. I remember the story in the family about a cousin who boasted that he was going to catch the aswang which was suspected to be roaming around the vicinity because my mother was pregnant.
In the morning, they saw him snoring in the balcony surrounded by bawang and reeked of the garlic smell that even the non-aswangs didn’t want to go near him.

Con-ass
The congressmen made asses of themselves when they interpreted the word Congress in the Article in the constitution which lists down how to amend the constitution.

Congress does not refer to House of Represetatives alone. Philippines has a bicameral legislature; the senate and the lower house; House of Representatives. Besides whatever amendments that may be introduced should be submitted to the people for referendum.

The Burn Notice fan in me see this as scripted floating of the possibility of Chacha.
Like a well-prepared plan, whoever is the mastermind has timed the passing of the bill
1. when Senators were bickering
2. presidentiables are already campaigning
3. opening of classes
4. the “PAGBABALIK NI MANCAO” which is expected to be hogging the headline of the tabloid and MSM.

Eddie Villanueva who is also oneof the presidentiables announced of a plan of holding a big rally. Ow ow ans ow.

Some militant groups are predicting that this would cause another people power.

They should read the writings on the wall. There is no more people power. Ask the weather.
