Dear mouse,
Upon reaching home yesterday, I was thinking of calling some friends. When you receive such kind of news from the doctor, first thing that is expected from you is to look for a shoulder to cry on. But then, it is not my type to do that. I feel it is selfish to call them in their workplace just so I can get somebody to console me. But it turned out, I was the one consoling them when they got hold of me. They have called me in my phone when I was in the Doctor’s office and they tried again to reach me thinking that I must just be out and the phone is unattended. They choked. I know they must be on the verge of tears. One reprimanded me for sounding jolly.
But I also cried before that. Masakit kasi sa panga pag pinigil mo.

But then looking back to my life, what do I have to complain?

There was a time when someone very close to me was given 24 to 48 hours. I prayed hard and
haggled with Someone UP There, to let the baby live. He granted me the request.
Another very close to me hovered to death when he was operated on busted appendix, I prayed and asked for his life and for financial assistance to defray the expenses of the operation. He granted me the request.
Now it is my life. Baka sabihin NIYA sumusobra ka na. Acheche.

I missed your last blog so I was not aware of what kind of ailment you have. I hope further tests that will be done to you will yield negative. Hang on tight for this shall be a tough ride. How I wish I was there to hold your hand should you lose your grip.
Si cathy naman o, nagpapatawa pa talaga. Mukhang malakas naman ang connection mo sa taas. Malay mo, dagdagan nya 9 lives mo. You are strong.
thanks titorolly,
i was wondering why there are a lot of reasons why i can’t go home to the phils. my siblings were against my plan. my brother whose wife also had cancer and a survivor thought that i can get better healthcare here.
I got the same wish too. But I want the pain to go away.
watson,
humor is the spice of life which when taken away, life is bland.
Hope you’ll get better Cath, as you have always made better things out of even the worst situations. he’s always with you.
kiws,
Malakas nga ako pag-iba ang pinagdadasal ko. KAya nga hiningi ko sa kaatid ko na may mas direct line sa itaas na siya ang magdasal para sa akin..
I still have that hope na sana nga kulang lang ako sa Vitamin C. o kaya sa TL C. nyuknyuk
Thanks Analyn,
Whatever plan He has for me, may be it will be for the better-er. *heh* ;)
I’ve read the book The Secret ung top seller pero afterwards sinuli ko din, sabi noong isang nagtestimonial meron din syang C, pero hindi sya nagtake neg medications kundi tumawa lang daw sya ng tumawa. My best friends sister reported to me that after my best friend came back from Boracay to be with the wedding entourage, she looked so fresh since she had a good dose of laughter, i think medically laughter heals our body kasi na lilinis ung oxygen natin.
Tama si Kiwi. Vitamin C nga siguro ang solusyun. Linus Pauling hinself believed in this. Saan ba ang focus ng Big C na yan?
lorena,
baka naman akalain nila buwang na ako. hehehe
Dr. Emer,
Sa ibaba ng katawan. Yong MRI ko pangcheck kong pati brain naapektuhan din. May hinala kasi sila na buwang na ako. hehehe
oh sige deep breathing na lang, turo sa aking noong chiro ko na “big teddy bear” pero hindi ko sya mahanap sa internet since their clinic at Flood bldg closed, is to imagine that there is an umbrella opening up inside ur body and then imagine it closing too, do it at least 3 times a day. He helped me get my sleep back after not being able to for almost 2 years bec of my back pain. Sana makasalubong ko siya one day so I can thank him again for giving me another chance to have normal sleep.
