Oprah on Octuplet mom -It’s all in the Family

Oprah clarified that it was the father of Suleman who called her producers for interview in order to correct the wrong impression of her daughter–he ended up declaring that his daughter is mentally incomplete.

He wanted also to share the limelight of his daughter?

First, he accused the people in the NBC that they pressured his daughter to come for interview when she was not ready yet since she was still on medication so her answers were not really clear.

Oprah said that she felt that she was in the condition that she can give the appropriate answers for the questions asked of her. I did not see the incident which triggered Oprah to make a mean comment asking the father that he can stand up and leave the studio if he wishes to. My jobless friend called up to ask me if I can prepare a cover letter for her. Grrr.

Oprah explained why people are not sympathetic with his daughter. it’s about the taxpayers’ money which are being used to care for the children. The hospitalization alone alread cost millions and this is being paid by the State. Oprah then asked who is going to help Suleman in raising her 14 kids.

The 67-year old grandfather of the 14 children raised his hand. Oprah asked where he’s going to get the money especially now that the house of his ex-wife is being foreclosed. He said that he had 9,000 when he arrived from overseas. Now he had only 100 dollars. The audience laughed. Gawddd.

I like the terms used by the guest doctor. That the octuplet mom is delusional and disconnect.

He said that all this love that the mom and the grandfather professed in raising the 14 children will never happened since three of the six children that she already had are special children who needed more attention. One mother with an autistic child agreed that she needed a lot of time to spend with her kid, how much more if there are two in the family.

The doctor further explained that these eight babies are not guaranteed to grow up without development problems.

Did I observe that Oprah never smiled while talking to the father of the octuplet mom or I just missed it.

Going back to my friend, I called her and told her outright that she has to start learning how to write her cover letter and resume. With that, I dictated to her the pro-forma. While I am talking to her, the little girl from hell was trying to get her attention again. Gusto ko nang sabihing pakitali nga yan. may kabastusan pa rin tuwing may kausap ang nanay niya saka kung ano ang paghihingiin. Sigh****
