Earth to Cat readers, the flying-saucer-like in the picture is not a UFO. I thought it was. Silly me.
During my high blood sugar level moments, my eyesight is poor of the poorest. Today, I was wearing two eyeglasses going to the shopping center. One is perched on my nose and the other one on top of my head. Well it is not because I need them both. Honestly, I forgot that I already “parked” my eyeglasses on top of my mesh of hair and so I looked for the back-up. I looked like an idiot. Hmm
But even with my eyeglasses on, things do not appear what they seem to be. Like that thing in the picture which I saw in the patio of a house at the street corner.
The lady owner of the house who is in the patio watering her plants smiled at me. She must have sensed that I was wondering what that thing on the tabletop is. So she said…Ahhh…that?
“It is one of the kind of fire pits I used for grilling during summer and a heater during cold season. It is like having a fireplace without the chimney and a grill without the flying embers.”
She added that she is a writer and she talks to her plants. I said Ahhhh.
I was about to say some more when a big rat run across my path. I said rat…she said no…it is a small black squirrel. Ahhh again. Me and my poor eyesight.

i have the same thing in the pic. my youngest son mahilig dalhin ang friends niya at the back yard and either eat or drink and they will fire up the fire pit to keep them warm when cold.
este….yong music to the plants. my sister has an orchidarium in pinas, and there is a pipe in music. i really saw how the plants follow the music in the morning.
