I borrowed the terms from the gossip blog chika time and kitty go’s blog about high society and the

Bear with me about this shallow gossip.
1. On credit card decline episode of Gretchen Barreto, her talent manager, Boy Abunda had this explanation (rolleyes…as if everything he says has a stamp of truth).
The credit card was declined because it was demagnetized.
Hello. When problems of this kind crop up, the alternative is to manually input the 16 digit number and the expiry date. When we order pizza here in the States, we don’t have to go to the pizza parlor to swipe the plastic. Since the hotel is a five-star, they must be making reservations thru phoned-in credit card.
2. When asked if Gretchen Barreto is really going abroad (they said for good). Boy Abunda responded that it is not in the immediate future but when the daughter has to attend a boarding school (in Europe I presume), the couple would like to be with the daughter. Baka paghatid lang?
Boarding schools in Europe are fee-charging schools where students and teachers live together in assigned dorms during the school term. Going out of the school is restricted.
So why send to boarding school when all they want is to be with the daughter? Slap forehead.
3. When asked if the reason why Gretchen did not attend Ruffa Gutierrez ‘s birthday party and if is it because of the credit-card-decline-I-am-not-Yilmaz -episode, he said he does not know and yet he assured that there is no problem between the two. They have been talking. OWS. Baka naman grounded? Sayang nandoon pa naman sina John Estrada with his new girl friend and Dodie Puno (daw) and Tingting Cojuangco and…
4. Talent manager and benefactor of Gabby Concepcion explained that her ward is not affected by the questionable integrity of the product he was endorsing. Yep, the has-been actor who is trying to make a comeback said that the product is also for good health. Ows. Skin whitening?
5. Someone commented in a blog that someone overheard a phone conversation which was assumed to be between the Top Leader of the land and a lady known to be her defender assuring the Top Leader that she can get past the press people at the airport.
Someone should tell this person that at any airport there is always a VIP lounge and a VIP exit for Very Important People who like to avoid the paparazzi.
One incident in SF was when I fetched somebody from the airport. My brother who is working at SFO
told me that one lady senator went ballistic because she was made to use the regular exit when she is supposed to be a VIP.
