As I have suspected, the video that I featured in my previous blog entry which was claimed to be the video taken via the camphone is the official one.
But Google Video has also the controversial video of Saddam’s execution. It has already been viewed by more than 12 million. Watch. For parents, don’t show the video to children.
One opinion about this unofficial recording of a historical event, is that the video of Saddam’s execution shows how useless old-fashioned propaganda is against the anarchic, hit-and-run nature of the new media.
