Whistleblower, teacher and politics

Dear mouse,
I should not be writing about politics. My doctor just increased the dosage of one of my medications to lower my abnormal blood pressure. But this is a writing project about a teacher. My mom was a teacher, and my avocation is teaching too.

Teaching is not supposed to be a high-risk profession like police authorities and military personnel.

Who would kill these professionals whose missions in their communities are to impart knowledge and inculcate moral values?

But when they become whistleblowers to expose grave misconduct, then they put their lives in danger. And this is the story of the Musa Dimasidsing, the Maguindanao Schools District Supervisor who was gunned down Saturday night at an Islamic school in the municipality by unidentified men for exposing electoral fraud.

The cost of the assassination may amount only to a few thousands for the mastermind. The benefit however is not only a few millions but hundreds of millions.

The loss to the family is priceless.

Ahh politics, I better go back to entertainment.
